In the first method, you will need to pour liquid alginate into the hole, and once it solidifies, it will form the shape of the screw. If you follow the Vernier caliper method, use the device to measure the diameter of the hole. Then, insert a stick or straw into the hole, mark the endpoint, and measure the length with the caliper. Or simply use a bolt scale on the hole to take measurements.
